On December 6, 2023, during the '13th International Conference on Typhoid & Other Invasive Salmonelloses' in Kigali, Rwanda, Professor Samir Saha, our founder and executive director, received special recognition from the Sabin Vaccine Institute for his 'unwavering dedication to public health and remarkable contributions to the worldwide prevention of typhoid.' 

All of us at CHRF could not be prouder of Professor Saha's dedication to tackling this neglected tropical disease since the 1990s. His scientific discoveries and relentless advocacy act as a source of inspiration for us every day.
