At CHRF, we envision a Bangladesh where there are zero deaths and disabilities in children due to preventable diseases. To achieve this, we not only have to prevent infections and save lives but also build a generation of young individuals who aspire to be scientists and leaders in their local communities to bring positive changes.
With the aspirations of working in Bangladesh, with Bangladesh, and for Bangladesh, we launched our “Building Scientists for Bangladesh” program in 2022.
Through the three streams of our program, we bring science to people by organizing science camps, introducing high-school students to science done in state-of-the-art research labs, and equipping aspiring scientists with hands-on laboratory skills for the future.
I am a school teacher/student, interested in science and want to invite CHRF's scientists to do a camp at my school.
I am a school student in Bangladesh or overseas. I want to do a training program at CHRF's research and diagnostic labs.
I am a university student or professional in Bangladesh or overseas. I want to develop my wet-lab or dry-lab skils at CHRF.
If you wish to sponsor this program or any of its specific streams, get in touch with our team.
Illumina and the Child Health Research Foundation hope to inspire youth to pursue careers in science
