To achieve a SMART Bangladesh by 2041, we must work towards finding innovative solutions to public health problems. To this end, on the 25th of October 2023, CHRF joined forces with Aspire to Innovate (a2i), a multinational digital transformation organization founded in Bangladesh.
With this collaboration, CHRF and a2i will work together to use artificial intelligence and machine learning to predict, prevent, diagnose and manage major health threats in Bangladesh. With our combined expertise, we will also work towards building capacity so others can join our cause, by designing workshops and training programs for healthcare professionals, researchers and technicians. All the while, we will continue advocating for policies to integrate tech-driven solutions into public health strategies - in Bangladesh, with Bangladesh, for Bangladesh.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony took place on the 25th of October, 2023 at the ICT Tower in Agargaon. Esteemed members of a2i present at the ceremony included Md Mamunur Rashid Bhuiyan, Project Director (Joint Secretary), Anir Chowdhury, Policy Advisor and Dr. Shabnam Mostari, Public Health Specialist, and Head of Smart Health Accelerator.
