The Child Health Research Foundation (CHRF) is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to scientific research, advancing scientific knowledge, and promoting science education among diverse audiences. CHRF is registered under the NGO Affairs Bureau and was founded in 2007 by a multidisciplinary research group. We operate with the core mission to improve child health by facilitating appropriate policy decisions on the treatment and prevention of infectious diseases, through quality research and advocacy using available resources. We conduct research in four hospitals (Dhaka Shishu Hospital, Dr. MR Khan Shishu hospital, Chittagong Ma-O-Shishu Hospital, and Kumudini Women’s Medical College) and five microbiology laboratories around the country. We collaborate with different international organizations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, World Health Organization, Edinburgh University, Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University, Centre for Disease Control, etc.
CHRF is looking to award fellowships! This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Science Communication team of CHRF and contribute to the execution of our "Building Scientists for Bangladesh" program. The fellow must be present on-site at CHRF-HQ at least 3 times a week.

• Completed SSC/O-levels by June 2024
• Candidates who completed a prior BSB training program will be preferred.
• Passion for science and storytelling.
• Applicants who had Biology in SSC/O-levels will be preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and comfortable with learning new software and tools.
• Basic graphics designing using Canva or Adobe Illustrator.
• Knowledge or interest in the field of scientific research and community health would be an asset.
• Fluency in both English and Bengali languages is required.
Selected fellows for this position will receive renumeration.
• Work closely with the CHRF team involved in the ‘Building Scientists of Bangladesh (BSB)’ program.
• Develop creative and engaging graphics and highlight content for various marketing materials, including advertisements, websites, social media, email campaigns, newsletters and more.
• Help in updating the website from the backend with new information [no programming knowledge is required for it].
• Work closely with other members of the Science Communication team to ensure integrated campaigns and social media posts.
• Travel with the BSB team to different schools and help set up science camps.
• Assist in creating brochures and other information material.
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines.
